Accepting a tenant invitation

If someone who already has a TKP workspace (tenant) invites you, they do so from their tenant's Tenant settings page by entering your email address and a role. You receive a link of the form:

https://your-tkp-instance.example/tenant-invitations/{id}/{token}

Open it. What happens next depends on whether you already have an account:

  • No account yet: you are sent to the registration form with your email address pre-filled and locked. Registration mode restrictions (open/invite-only/allowlist) do not apply here: an invitation is its own authorization to register. After you set a password and submit, you land back on the invitation link automatically.
  • You already have an account with that email: you are sent to the login page. Sign in and you'll be redirected back automatically.
  • Signed in with a different account: the invitation link tells you which email address it was sent to. Sign out and sign in with the matching account.

Once accepted, the tenant appears in your workspace switcher with the role the inviter assigned you (see Tenants & membership roles), and you land on that tenant's dashboard.

Invitation links expire once used and are single-purpose. Ask the inviter to send a new one if yours no longer works.
